HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
HEY, TRAVELER!
CAMP CERRITOS FAQS
-
We recommend using the Salsipuedes road (main beach road) to access Camp Cerritos this year. If you are coming from Cabo, Google maps will take down a bumpy narrow road to access camp. Summer storms have made this road a bit rough and overgrown and should be avoided if possible.
If you aren't sure how to best access camp, just shoot us a text or Whatsapp.

Long-term stays should be booked at least three months in advance.
Those looking to camp between December - March should make reservations as early as possible.
-
We allow a maximum of 6 guests per site. Campers with more than 4 people in their group will be charged an additional fee of $5 per person/per night.
-
Yes. We love dogs! We have one of our own who you will frequently see around camp. Her name is Frankie, and she just might bring you a stick to play fetch!
That being said, we do not allow more than 2 dogs per site. Pet owners are expected to clean up after their pets and should be mindful that the property is not fully enclosed. Off-leash dogs may wander off or encounter other dogs.

Totally! All of our sites are large enough to fit 2-3 camper vans or small truck campers. A fee of $10 per night/per additional camping vehicle will be assessed in addition to the normal nightly rate. Maximum 6 guests per site.
If you would like to make a reservation for more than one camping vehicle, please contact us directly before making a reservation online.

Children are welcome! You’ll find children’s books in the camp library along with some fun board games for the family to enjoy.
The campground is home to many native plants and cacti that have spines and other prickly bits, so if you have young children you’ll want to keep a close eye on them.

Yes! All of our water is sourced from a local well and treated through a three-stage Clearsource filtration system.
If you have an RV Filter, feel free to use it.

Camp Cerritos is located less than a mile from Cerritos Beach. It usually takes us 5 minutes to get there by car. Longer if you stop for snacks and beers on the way! :)

No, but there are local options in Cerritos and nearby El Pescadero. We recommend supporting the local economy by utilizing one of the local lavanderias.
